Invitation: Call for conference presentation and pre-conference workshop proposals

NOTE: SUBMISSION OF CONFERENCE PROPOSALS IS NOW CLOSED

Whatever your role, interest and experience in evaluation we invite you to submit a proposal for a conference presentation or pre-conference workshop and join us in Melbourne to debate, discuss, share knowledge and experiences, network and learn about what is happening in evaluation, and evaluation-related fields, in the Australasian region and across the world.

The conference will be held from 7 to 9 September 2015 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The conference will be preceded by two days of pre-conference workshops on 5 and 6 September at the University of Melbourne.

We invite you to submit a proposal for delivering a presentation at the conference and/or a pre-conference workshop.

Proposal submission deadline dates

The deadline to submit conference presentation proposals and pre-conference workshop proposals is 13 March 2015 (extended from 6 March). It is your responsibility to meet the deadline. The Australasian Evaluation Society cannot be held responsible for errors caused by internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.
Conference and pre-conference workshop presenters will be notified of acceptance by 11 May 2015.

Conference registration requirement

For conference presentations at least one presenting author must register for the conference in order to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final conference program. The deadline for presenting author registration is 30 June 2015 (close of Early Bird registrations).

Interested in reviewing conference and workshop proposals?

We are seeking your assistance to review the conference and pre-conference workshop proposals. The call for proposals close on 6 March 2015. The Program Committee is looking to allocate proposals for review in early April 2015. The deadline for the review process is 4 May 2015.

This year’s conference proposals review will be a double-blind review. This means that author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The review process is fully automated and anonymous. You will be provided with instructions to guide your review and an online assessment form which will need to be completed. We will also be offering Reviewers Training webinars from 20 to 27 March 2015. Reviewer's names will be published in the conference abstract book.
